Your pricing

Our quotes and flat rate pricing

Our flat-rate pricing lets you get a cleaning quote for your home. We use your square footage and any add-ons you select to estimate how much time the cleaning will take. We use this estimated amount of cleaning time to give you a price quote.

Your price = Amount of time needed to clean your home x hourly rate (in minutes). If you ever have questions about this just give us a call.

Since 2015, we've cleaned over 100,000 homes, so we're able to give you an estimate you can trust.?

Changes to your quote or price

Price increase because we need more time

If we can't finish your cleaning in the estimated time we'll let you know.

You'll have the option to:

  • Pay for extra time at our normal hourly rate (in minutes)
  • Give us your priority areas for cleaning in the time we have available

This is not a common occurrence but it does happen.

Some reasons this might happen are:

  • Your home square footage is not correct
  • We need to pick up and organize your belongings before we can clean
  • Your home has not had a regular cleaning schedule or has not been cleaned in awhile

General price increase to keep up with inflation or other economic reasons

We only raise prices to continue bringing you the best quality possible.

When we do a general price increase it's so we can continue to:

  • Hire and keep the best housekeepers
  • Buy and use the best cleaning products and supplies

Each year we check our pricing to see how it matches current economic conditions. If we have to raise our pricing to continue to bring you the best cleaning experience, we'll let you know before we do so.

Rescheduling

We know life happens and sometimes you need to reschedule your cleaning.

Just let us know by 4 PM the day before your visit and we can make it happen.

We don't like to charge fees, but if you need to cancel after 4 PM the day before your visit, you can do so with the $40 late cancellation fee.

Happiness guarantee

With our "Be Happy Guarantee," your satisfaction is our top priority.

If anything is missed or you're not entirely satisfied, we'll make it right - guaranteed!

Simply let us know, and we'll return the same day or the next day to address any concerns at no additional charge. Your happiness is our commitment.

Maid comfort

All MoreHands employees have the right to stop the job at any time if they are uncomfortable in the home.

Reasons we allow them to make this decision are:

  • Commenting on our maid's physical appearance

  • Asking for personal information not related to the work they are performing
  • Customer trying to poach or solicite to hire our employees
  • Inappropriate touching
  • Intoxication
  • Aggressive pets
  • Hazardous materials or illegal substances are present
  • Indoor temperatures are not appropriate for safe work conditions
  • Any unsafe working conditions

Some of these reasons won't allow us to return to your home, but we can find solutions for others. We'll let you know what has caused this decision and give you options.

Insect/bug policy

If we find live or dead bugs, we will call you and ask you to hire an exterminator before our next visit. Depending on the severity of the bug presence, we may need to remove our housekeepers from the job.

Things we don't clean

  • Areas higher than the 2nd step of a step ladder
  • Chandelier cleaning
  • Cleaning of mold, bodily fluids, pet waste & vomit, etc.
  • Wiping light bulbs
  • High levels of trash or clutter
  • Scrubbing of painted walls
  • Interior of washer and dryer
  • We do not change bunk bed linens due to insurance restrictions of climbing to the top bunk

How to stop your recurring service

Just let us know by phone, text, or email that you need to stop your recurring cleaning visits.

There are no contracts when you choose MoreHands.

However, we have a nominal $69 charge if you cancel your recurring visits before the second cleaning. This charge is designed to bring your initial cleaning cost more in line with our one-time cleaning price. We understand that circumstances can change and want to make the process as straightforward as possible.
